Summer Break

Dan got a week of for their "Summer Break". It was so nice. We took advantage of it and did as many fun thing as we could physically do. We went to Family Fest (little carnival) and then watched fireworks, Went swimming as much as we could, BBQ at the lake, Brewers game, Game night with friends, lots and lots of BBQ, park and much more. We loved having daddy to our selves for a whole week!! We got a little spoiled and had a hard time letting him go back to school.

A Day at the Beach

This weekend we went to the lake front to watch an Air and water show. After sitting there for 3 hours waiting for it to start, unfortunately it ended up being cancelled due fog. The fog was too thick for the planes to perform. We were sad it was cancelled but we had a fun time playing on the beach anyway.

A Day at the Farm

For play group this week our ward went to farm that is about 30 min away. It was a lot of fun. Hailey loved the animals as long as she didnt get too close. We saw Horses, sheep, goats and chickens. It was perfect weather for a perfect day at the farm.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! On Saturday we went to the Lake front for a Kite festival. It was so much fun. The weather we perfect. There were a lot of people but it was on a huge grassy area that it didnt seem that crowded. Everyone was there flying their kites. But the main act of entertainment was the professional kite fliers. They were AMAZING. I never knew you could do that many things with a kite. The acts were all set to music. They would do the most incredible things with these kites and they would never get tangled up. They also had quiet a few larger kites just flying in the air. The biggest on there was a large octopus that was 140 feet long. It was HUGE. Here are a few pictures.

One Year Older and Wiser too.....

Hailey turned one at the beginning of the month. We cant believe how fast the past year has gone. We had a great day. Dan had the day off school and the weather was between 75-80. So we took advantage of that and went to the Zoo. The zoo here is amazing. It is so big and there are so many fun animals. We were there for about 2 1/2 hours and still didnt see everything. We came home and had dinner as a family and then a birthday celebration. She got so many fun things. Dan and I gave her a walker, a bucket full of blocks, a new dress and her very first Doll. She loves her "baby". Its so cute to hear her say baby. Its the first thing she asks for in the morning when she wakes up. So we go find baby and she gives her "loves" and kisses". Its so cute.

Matt and Amie and their kids came over to see the birthday girl. It was so fun to have them here to celebrate with us. Hailey loves her cousins!! Here are a few pictures from the big day.

Big Girl

Hailey is growing up so fast. We cant believe she will be 1 year old this week. The has a personality that is larger than life. She is so much fun and keeps us laughing. We love her so much!!

Spring Break

During Dans spring break, we took a couple days and went to an indoor water park resort with some friends. We had a blast. Hailey loved the water. We cant wait till she is big enough to enjoy the water slides.
