One Year Older and Wiser too.....

Hailey turned one at the beginning of the month. We cant believe how fast the past year has gone. We had a great day. Dan had the day off school and the weather was between 75-80. So we took advantage of that and went to the Zoo. The zoo here is amazing. It is so big and there are so many fun animals. We were there for about 2 1/2 hours and still didnt see everything. We came home and had dinner as a family and then a birthday celebration. She got so many fun things. Dan and I gave her a walker, a bucket full of blocks, a new dress and her very first Doll. She loves her "baby". Its so cute to hear her say baby. Its the first thing she asks for in the morning when she wakes up. So we go find baby and she gives her "loves" and kisses". Its so cute.

Matt and Amie and their kids came over to see the birthday girl. It was so fun to have them here to celebrate with us. Hailey loves her cousins!! Here are a few pictures from the big day.

WE MADE IT!!!

We have arrived in Wisconsin. We got here on the 14th of August and are just trying to get settled. We are still in boxes but slowly making progress unpacking. The trip is about 1400 miles and we drove it in 3 days. Hailey was a trooper. There were times she had enough of her car seat and wanted to get out. I dont blame her, I wanted to get out too!! Once we arrived we arrived it was so fun to see Matt, Amie, Kaylee, and Josh. It was hard to leave family behind but was a lot easier knowing we had family waiting for us. We are excited for Hailey to have cousins to play with.
